Social behavior is best learned through role playing,
repetition, modeling, and feedback from others.
The group format is designed to help clients
learn and implement strategies to enhance their
relationships with others.  Group services are
tailored to the individual needs of our clients.
We take a comprehensive look at each client's
needs as well as their age and developmental
level to tailor groups and lessons.  Some of the skills
that our clients learn in our groups:
  • Social expectations of being part of a group
  • Interpreting nonverbal communication
  • Cognitive flexibility
  • Manage anxiety
  • Cope with big emotions
  • Regulate behavior
  • Increase perspective-taking skills
  • Increase confidence
  • Adjusting to difficult life changes
  • Improve attention, memory skills, ability to plan, organization
  • And more depending on the individual and group needs
